Call for Abstractrs - 10th Annual JBMTI Research Forum
10th ANNUAL JBMTI RESEARCH FORUM
The JBMTI Research Network will hold its 10th Annual Research
ForumRelational-Cultural Research: Exploring the Science of
Connectionbeginning with a network dinner on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at
the Wang Campus Center, Room 415, Wellesley College, Wellesley, MA, from
6:00-8:00 PM. Poster/discussion presentations will follow on Friday, June
22, from 1:30-5:00 PM.
Researchers interested in presenting their studies will have an
opportunity to gain additional feedback through a large group discussion
with the members of the network. (The JBMTI Research Network is
highlighting studies that contribute to understanding how relationships
facilitate growth, development and healing. Abstracts containing
preliminary findings or summaries of completed studies will be given the
highest priority.)
If you are interested in submitting a poster/discussion proposal for
review, please submit a 500-word abstract via email to Linda Hartling at
lhartling@wellesley.edu. DEADLINE for submissions is Friday, March 30,
2007. Notification about the status of your review will be sent no later
than May 15, 2007. (Go to:

IRENE STIVER DISSERTATION AWARD
Each year during the Forum dinner, the JBMTI Research Network announces
the recipient of the Irene Stiver Dissertation Publication Award. This
award includes a $250 check and a certificate of achievement. To be
considered for this award, an applicant’s dissertation must reflect an
integration or application of Relational-Cultural Theory as it has been
conceptualized by the scholars of the Stone Center and the Jean Baker
Miller Training Institute.
Nomination for the Irene Stiver Dissertation Award requires submission of
a five-page dissertation summary; two letters of recommendation; and
doctoral degree within the past 5 years. Nominations and letters of
recommendation must be postmarked by Friday, March 30, 2007. Please email
your application and five page summary to Linda Hartling, PhD by Friday,
March 30, 2007: lhartling@wellesley.edu. Notification of status will be

Forum attendance requires pre-registration (this includes presenters).
