Violence is not the only response to the many local and global intercommunal conflicts raging in our world today - increasingly we know of many better approaches to resolving conflicts. Enroll in our master’s degree program and develop the knowledge and skills to better prevent, manage and resolve the conflicts in your country, your region, or at a global level.
The Brandeis University master’s program offers:
the newest thinking about contemporary theories of conflict and the interventions that can address them;
unique training in dialogue and mediation skills effective for use in intercommunal conflicts;

Enroll in the Dual Master of Arts in Sustainable International Development (SID) and Coexistence and Conflict (COEX)
The SID/COEX Dual degree option was created in response to the global demand for academic and professional training that addresses the overlap between development and coexistence work in societies in conflict.
